**Arrival by Train**
Destination Station: Dorfgastein Station
The station is only about 400 meters (a 5-minute walk) from Pension Posauner.
Good connections via ÖBB (Austrian Federal Railways), for example through Salzburg, Bischofshofen, or Zell am See.
From the station to the pension:
Exit Dorfgastein station heading toward the town center.
Walk along Bahnhofstraße and turn right onto Ledererstraße.
Pension Posauner is located on the left side at Ledererstraße 3.
**Arrival by Car**
From Salzburg/Wien:
Take the A10 Tauern Autobahn southbound.
Exit at Bischofshofen.
Continue on B311 towards St. Johann im Pongau – Zell am See.
At Lend, turn right onto Gasteiner Bundesstraße (B167) towards Gastein Valley.
In Dorfgastein, turn right onto Ledererstraße.
Note: Parking is available only subject to availability. Reservation is not possible

Onward journey from the airport:
Rental car: Via A10 → B311 → B167 directly to Dorfgastein (approx. 1.5 hours journey time)
Train:
- Take a bus or taxi from the airport to Salzburg Main Station (approx. 15-20 minutes)
- Then, take the train to Dorfgastein Station (approx. 2–2.5 hours, often with a transfer in Bischofshofen)
Alternatives:
- Munich Airport (approx. 240 km)
- Innsbruck Airport (approx. 160 km)
